Since 1983, The Swingline Cubs have been the standard by which all other variety dance bands in the Portland area have been measured. The fact that the ‘Cubs’ have been one of Portland’s busiest private party bands over the past twenty years is no accident, they are just that good! The Swingline Cubs are available for weddings, corporate events, birthday parties, festivals, concerts, and any event where quality music and exciting, professional entertainment is essential.
Swingin' since 1983, the band was christened the "Swingline Cubs" by a bartender in a rare moment of history. The majority of the events where the ‘Cubs’ perform come from referrals. This is a testimony to the professionalism and quality of their work. The Swingline Cubs treat every engagement as if it were the biggest day in our clients' lives... because it often is!
